George Corton
As the former Vice President for Development & Innovation Philanthropy at Florida International University (FIU), George led record-breaking fundraising campaigns, including a $750 million initiative and securing the largest alumni gift in FIU history. Now serving as Managing Principal at Westside Capital Group, he brings a wealth of experience in inclusive philanthropy and strategic development.
Shivani Joshi
With over 20 years in development and partnerships, Shivani has held leadership roles at the American Cancer Society, University of Miami Business School, and FIU. At FIU, she was the top fundraiser, instrumental in closing a $750 million campaign. Currently, as Chief Advancement Officer at Gulliver Prep, she oversees fundraising, alumni relations, and strategic communications.
Dr. Michael Cheng
Dean of FIU’s Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management, Dr. Cheng is a pioneer in Culinology® and competency-based learning. Under his leadership, the school has risen to the No. 4 U.S. public hospitality program, launched executive education initiatives, and secured over $50 million in endowment funds.
